Color Edition: Round, but not just black

The new Pirelli Color Edition tyre range turned heads at this year’s Geneva Motor Show. Having launched onto the market in late 2017 in sizes of 19 inches and higher, the new range allows customers to personalise their tyres from an aesthetic point of view with either one of the base colours (red, yellow, green, blue, orange, silver or white) or one of over 300 customizable colour choices.
Pirelli’s exclusive technology allows the company to do this thanks to materials which, while not affecting the tyre’s performance, create a protective barrier to keep the colours bright and pristine throughout the tyre’s life.
To our delight a booking was made for our Protyre Gloucester branch which was lined up to be the first garage in the UK to fit a set of the new tyres.
Centre Manager Karl Chapman was honoured to host the fitting and after a long day filming the spectacle told us ‘it was an exciting experience for the centre’.
